In News, News Snippets, Staff by Alisa Evans

Pasico Ghana, a subsidiary of Paterson Simons, recently conducted internal theory training for our CIT Inspectors and Trainers in Ghana.

This training was the ISO 17020 Conformity assessment, covering: Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection and Inspection and Thorough Examination of Equipment, as well as the ISO 17024 Conformity assessment, covering: General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons and Train the Trainer.

This theory training and discussions aim to articulate the principles, processes, procedures, and requirements for ensuring the competence, consistency, and impartiality of bodies/organisations engaged in inspection activities and certifying individuals.

The focus encompasses adherence to International Standards, Statutory Regulations, O.E.M and QHS Management best practices, emphasising concise and factual reporting within a legal context, the intent and scope of Certification Schemes, and effective delivery of training, examination, and certification of equipment operators via a Train the Trainer programme.

This training is an introduction to the broader scope of specialised training required to equip our personnel in the field of equipment inspection & certification and the certification of persons in line with International Standards.
