Pasico Ghana, a subsidiary of Paterson Simons, attended the Local Content Conference & Exhibition 2022 (LCCE), from 22 to 24th November, In Takoradi, Ghana.
Organised by Petroleum Commission, Ghana, the annual Local Content Conference and Exhibition (LCCE) is one of the largest events in the oil and gas industry with the objective of enhancing public education on local content development and deliberating on critical issues affecting the industry.
The theme this year was Sustaining Local Content Development Through Enhanced Exploration and Production Activities in the Era of Energy Transition.
Held at the Best Western Atlantic Hotel, Takoradi, the conference featured discussions on: enhancing E&P activities and developments of marginal fields to sustain local content development; preparation towards the energy transition and its implications for local content development; financing the oil and gas value chain to sustain local content development; and the prospects and challenges of AfCFTA on local content development in the upstream oil and gas industry.
The successful event attracted hundreds of participants from key government institutions, international oil companies, upstream petroleum service providers, trade associations, financial institutions, and representatives from other countries including Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, Angola, Brazil, France, the UK and more.
