Paterson Simons, together with Alimak Service, planned and executed informative refresher training sessions for our engineers and technicians, who are based in Togo.
The aim is to keep Paterson Simons employees up to date with the new maintenance instructions and get them certified for the maintenance work and the correct troubleshooting processes for their work on lifts installed mainly on ship to shore gantry cranes.
The training sessions were held online for two separate groups for two days, and included:
- Safety Instructions during operations and maintenance
- Alimak Manuals
- Parts Identification
- Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Functional test & load/drop tests
The sessions enriched the teams’ information and knowledge about Alimak Lifts, better inspection processes, an improvement to their maintenance work, as well as helping shorten the troubleshooting duration during breakdowns.
