When was the last time you inspected your forks? How are they being used?
According to ISO 5057 standards, the inspection interval should not be more than 12 months and forks with 10% wear on the heel area are unsafe and must be replaced. Moreover, a 10% wear means a 20% reduction in capacity.
Many things happen to lifting forks during their lifetime in operations and awareness is very important especially from a safety point of view. Did you know that their lifetime is drastically reduced when they are being misused to handle loads over the forks capacity, or when using only one fork to lift, or even when adding an extension longer than 30% of the original blade length?
In case the above sounds familiar to you, get your new pair of forks ordered in August, to benefit from this special August promotion!
